How do you know when to train and push through discomfort and when to give yourself a day? When do you tell the motovational fitspo memes to **** off?
Coming off of Savannah, preceded by 2 other travel events in previous weeks, I was dead tired. I tried lifting the day after travel.....trainwreck. Gave myself a few days of just rest and rolling out.
Today, massive female issues. Tell your ovaries to shut up and get to lifting.
For me, if I can make quality movements and stay positive, ill push through discomfort.

Coming back from time off a movement is one of the hardest things in weightlifting to do. You have to knock the rust off the motor patterns, build confidence back up in the movement, and be extra cautious that the movement occurs the same way as the bar adjusts up and down kilo by kilo. @gabbyepelman has been doing just that. This clean 64🔑 is a sign that we are really starting to understand how to move the bar and a sign of things to come🤘
