RepostBy @syattfitness: "💥HOW TO BURN FAT AND BUILD MUSCLE AT THE SAME TIME💥 - 🐸Much of the science based fitness industry will tell you it's impossible build muscle and burn fat at the same time because building muscle requires a calorie surplus and burning fat requires a calorie deficit. - 🏓On a surface level, they're right. BUT they're only looking at events in the short term. They're analyzing progress based on a 24hr window. The good news is, progress isn't made or dictated on a 24hr basis. As you know, real progress takes A TON of time and effort. Not a day or even a week. It takes months and YEARS of consistent effort. - 🦄With that in mind, a simple strategy and one way of many to burn fat and build muscle at the same time is using calorie cycling. That is to say, several days each week you eat slightly above your maintenance calorie intake. And several days each week you eat slightly below your maintenance calorie intake. - ☕️Immense patience is required for this strategy because you will NOT see rapid progress. But if you stick to it for months and years on end, you will build muscle, burn fat, gain strength, and improve your body composition all at the same time. - 🍕As you can see in this example, the net weekly calorie surplus is very small. That's ok. You don't want something massive or else you run the risk of adding more body fat than you may want. By keeping the surplus small you give your body the chance to build muscle and gain strength while using the low calorie days to burn unwanted fat. - 🐣I know this might look complicated and I apologize if I'm not being clear. You know when I do my hair in two small buns bcuz I ‘m ready to lift like a girl “ straight up tho There are many reasons we decide to get into fitness. Whether to save us from a bad path, , body image issues, depression but whatever it may be ,we all relate on one thing. Fitness for me saved my life from illness I had diabetes in the past and cholesterol I was super very extremely unconfident , I didn't have the easiest upbringing so I was so afraid I didn’t even have money just to go to the gym , I was going to school and work at night but I really want to make a a different in my life I really want become healthy , it took me years to understand self love and I just fell in love with fitness Gym is my anti stress my therapy I met so many people they gave me a hand help I still in process of learning I make mistake , so if you're facing one of these obstacles you're not alone) and if I can do it...SO CAN YOU ❤️🙏🏼 Fitness gave me purpose and something to progress & to grow in. Words I posted FIVE years ago and such a great reminder today! What are you passionate about?? And are you doing something about it? I was and have always been passionate about becoming a doctor. I was fascinated with the human body and with helping others. And I've been working my a** off for so many years. And guess what?! I'm FINALLY almost there (205 days to be exact 😳). When I became more involved in lifting weights 🏋 and learning how to fuel my body with the right nutrition, that quickly became another passion of mine. And since starting this page and reaching out to helping others on their journey, the passion keeps intensifying! And I'm loving every second of coaching and trying to motivate others on their own journey. My passions are in the front seat and taking full control, just how it should be!
