Moderation does not exist for everyone. It's a phrase that makes me cringe every time I hear it. Eat in moderation. I agree to a certain point. But most people nowadays, with portion sizes much larger than they were years ago, they don't truly understand what moderation is and they, read you, are still eating far too much. Too much sugar, too much fat. Enjoying that pasta, croissant, wine, whatever it is, you may be having it far too often and hence it's hindering your fat loss goals. If this is you, you may have to track religiously for a week or two everything that you eat. Read all the labels, weigh food, do what you need to so you can see where you really are and how much you eat. Some may just need to cut down on the number of snacks and treats they consume during the week, and will soon find that fat loss resumes again. So don't sabotage your effort with this lying to yourself phrase of, everything in moderation. Do you want to build muscle, burn body fat and a lean body? Eat your protein. Just as important for woman as it is for men. It won't make you "bulky". Don't fear it, it's your friend. Not gonna lie nutrition has been rough! . Sean and I went away on vacation the week of Thanksgiving and I didn't pay a lot of attention to my eating. We came back and I had no time to food shop or prep last week so everything was on the go and last minute. I really wanted to try to go dairy free during the week or 6 days out of the week, but I was finding it really hard to do it with no clean food in the house. . So today after tutoring, I shopped, planned and prepped. I bought snacks that are clean and dairy free. Prepped my shakes and lunch and found a dressing that seemed appealing and yummy to motivate those salads and help avoid problematic dressings. . Gotta make sure I'm on point with nutrition because no matter how much you work out, it's all about what you're putting into your mouth. Between Sean's Birthday yesterday, my Birthday next weekend and Christmas I'm determined to not let December screw up my nutrition. . So if I can keep every breakfast, lunch and snacks looking like this with a simple healthy dinner, I think I'll be ahead of the game! Doesn't have to be pretty, just needs to fuel the body. . Here's to being prepared!

Well another 12 week challenge done and dusted! Certainly can't handle my alcohol like I could when I was a big girl! The worst thing is I can't remember most of the night! Must have been good! No difference between the two really other than texture, although Greek style usually been the higher in protein in most brands and lower in fat. But if it's the texture of the natural one you like go for Tesco's new own brand with increased protein, it just comes down to preference now . 200g usually only has 10g of protein.
