French Toast Serves 2 Ingredients *3 slices Challah Bread, 1-inch thick *2 Eggs *1 cup Milk *1/2 tsp Sugar *1 drop Vanilla *Pinch Nutmeg *Confectioner's Sugar *Maple Syrup Directions Mix eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg in a bowl. Soak bread a few slices at a time. Remove slices with slotted spoon Cook slowly in well-buttered pan for about 3 minutes on each side or until well-puffed and browned. Sprinkle with sifted confectioners sugar. Pre @weightwatchersaunz I very rarely ate breakfast. If I did, it was something low in nutrition and quick to prepare. Think Vegemite toast (which I still love by the way!) or coco pops 🙈 I definitely did not sit with the boys to eat in the mornings either. Now, I know if I don't eat a substantial breakfast I'm starving my morning tea time and staying on track becomes near impossible. So I start my day strong AND I get to check in my kids at the beginning and end of the day (dinner) during a sit down meal.
