Fitness isnât just something I do. Itâs not just something I went to school for and began my career in. It is something that has completely changed the way I think, feel, and act. It may seem like Iâm over exaggerating, but Iâm completely serious. My mindset, overall health, determination, work ethic, relationships with others and myself, body composition, self confidence, and more have ALL improved because of constantly striving to reach new goals and create a healthier version of myself each day.
The one thing I wish I could change? STARTING SOONER. I wish I had stopped making excuses and just done what I knew I needed to do. I wish I would have cared more about my body and my nutrition while I was an athlete, and I wish I wouldâve just been more aware of what I was doing and how I was making myself feel. I wish I did more research on how to do things properly rather than running my body into the ground....
SO MANY THINGS could be different if I had started sooner, but you know what? I didnâtð¤·ð¼ââï¸ and you know what else? thatâs OK because eventually I DID make that decision to start. Sure, I could wish all these things had happened sooner because I can only imagine where Iâd be today if I had. However, just starting is one of the hardest parts and Iâm thankful that I started in the first place. It may be one thing to wonder what may have happened if I started sooner, but Iâm so glad I donât have to wonder what would have happened if I never did.
There may never be a âperfectâ time to start, you just have to suck it up sometimes and do what you know you should do. No, it wonât be easy, but youâre damn right youâll come out a completely different person, because one day you decided to just go for itðªð¼
