Yesterday Farah was neutered so she’s feeling pretty sorry for herself today not to mention a little sore.
She had a good night despite trying to lick her stitches ( now she’s got to wear the cone) for the next 7-9 days.
Farah has had 4 litters over the past 4 years and part of being a responsible breeder is stopping at this point so she can have a long and healthy contented life without the inconvenience of seasons or the unwanted male attention they bring.
She will be restricted from walking with the pack for a week giving her time to recover from her operation.
While I’m talking about neutering dogs.
Id like to ask you to never let a vet neuter your dog less than 14 months old ( ideally 24months ) and I ask you to have it done by it’s 7th birthday.
For the simple reasons of health issues and unplanned pregnancies.
.If you need any help or guidance on what your vet is advising regarding neutering at a young age please DM me for free unbiased advise. In some cases it is necessary.
My advise is honest and free, I’m not trying to make any money out,Im only trying to do what’s best for your Labrador.🐶
